Mikey Gormley is an ASCAP award winning, RIAA certified gold selling songwriter in the US with over 500 million streams to his name and a graduate of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.

His work has achieved notable chart success, most prominently with Nina Nesbitt’s “Loyal to Me”, which peaked at #38 on the Official Scottish Singles Chart and charted on the UK Indie Chart as part of her UK Top 30 album “The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change”. In the electronic space, his co-written single “Young Again” for Dutch DJ Don Diablo earned international dance chart and Beatport Top 100 placements.

His songwriting and production work has also found significant success in Christian music, most notably with “Build a Boat”, which spent seven weeks on both Billboard Hot Christian Songs and Billboard Christian Airplay, and ten weeks on Mediabase Christian AC Airplay. It was the longest-running Mediabase #1 of 2022 and was certified Gold in the US.

Beyond sales, Gormley’s work has received extensive radio support across BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Capital FM and Heart. His credits include collaborations with ADMT (“Prison”, “Homeless”), James TW (“Gravity”, “Heartbeat Changes”), Bow Anderson (“Two Houses”), and Dylan Fraser (“The Storm”), with further airplay across European pop radio.
